What is HaIdi?

Haldi in Hindi (Indian language), also known as Turmeric in English, is a spice commonly used as a starter in a vast majority of Indian dishes. In addition to its vibrant yellow color, Haldi is known for its aromatic and spicy fragrance. Other than its use within the kitchen, Haldi has various other uses. It has been recognized and used in home remedies for thousands of years because of its benefits in curing a variety of illnesses. Ancient India used Haldi after surgeries to keep the stitches from getting infected. Modern science has observed Haldi as an element inminimizing Alzheimer's disease, arthritis, cancer and many other health issues. Due to some of these unique benefits, Haldi is considered highly auspicious and favorable in south East Asia. Our restaurant utilizes and promotes this key ingredient in everyday cooking simply because of its purity, diversity and fertility abilities. We only give the best of what we can get and hope you will enjoy what we have to offer.
